Clapsodra new single, “Lust For Power” from the upcoming album, “OF TERROR & SOUL”, is out now!
Official Video Premiere!
In a world where the lust for power and control drives leaders and impacts us all, this song brings us to a painful yet crucial reflection on the future we’re creating with our own hands. We’re so convinced of our righteousness that we become blind to the suffering we cause ourselves. In the name of beliefs, ideologies, or even God, we turn into pawns for those driven by their thirst for power. While we believe we’re fighting for a noble cause, often we’re merely serving the personal interests of those in authority. The song “Lust for Power” is an urgent wake-up call. It invites us to open our eyes and acknowledge an uncomfortable truth: sometimes we’re nothing more than tools in the hands of leaders motivated by ego, power, and personal glory. Is it time to pause? To look inward? To heal ourselves? What do you see when you look in the mirror?

CLAPSODRA – LUST FOR POWER – OF TERROR AND SOUL – Lyrics:
Complicit in causing misery
We are blinded by our cause
I want to open my eyes
We bring only sorrow pain! hate!
I want to face the truth
The hard and awkward truth
We’d better change
Heal ourselves
Being used by our leaders
Their personal glory
Their selfish gains
We are the tool of death
To Justify the lust for power
We help the victims of oppression
Eradication of man-made law
Supreme dominion for the Lord
Complicit in causing misery
We are blinded by our cause
I want to open my eyes
We bring only sorrow pain! hate!
I want to face the truth
The hard and awkward truth
We’d better change
Heal ourselves
To right a wrong that someone has done
We kill in the name of our God
Hunting the mistakes of others
While we can not see our own
