Shimon was born into a family whose whole world was music. His late mother was a singer. His father collected old records and would play him classical songs from a young age.
Shimon studied professional piano in the fifth grade and played it until the tenth grade. He was accepted into the Raanana Symphony Orchestra, but at the age of 13 decided to leave the piano and switch to playing the guitar, which is still an inseparable part of him today.
He got his passion for playing the guitar from the band Metallica, which he still admires today. As part of his admiration, he formed a tribute band to Metallica called “The Ktulus”.
Shimon teaches many students and passes on to them the emotion he has in playing and the inclusive nature he has.
Shimon joined Clapsodra at the end of 2024 and he arrived with a lot of ambition to create new riffs and express his musical abilities on stage and in future albums.
